Kindness for Kids of Union County is committed to offering an array of services in conjunction with Department of Child Protection & Permanency (DCP&P) of Union County. We are here to serve all children and youth in foster care in Union County. By providing emotional, educational, and social support, Kindness for Kids aims to empower these young individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.

The Beginning of Kindness for Kids of Union County
Our History
Kindness for Kids of Union County began with a small group of dedicated & committed board members from the organization formerly known as CASA of Union County. Children in the foster care system in Union County will still be served under the new entity of CASA of Passaic and Union County, otherwise known as Child Focus.

For the past 10 years our team has come together with the community of Union County to fill backpacks with new school supplies for children in foster care.
Hosting Drives
School supply drives and community collections that put essentials directly into the hands of Union County kids.
Financial Literacy
Financial literacy programs that give young people practical tools to thrive.

New initiatives, community engagement and collaborative partnerships are on the way.
