Our Journey
Kindness for Kids of Union County began with a small group of dedicated & committed board members from the organization formerly known as CASA of Union County. Children in the foster care system in Union County will still be served under the new entity of CASA of Passaic and Union County, otherwise known as Child Focus.

We strive for a community where children experience kindness. We strive for children to have a chance to grow into compassionate, resilient individuals.
Why Kindness for Kids?
Kindness for Kids of Union County is committed to offering an array of services in conjunction with Department of Child Protection & Permanency (DCP&P) of Union County. We are here to serve all children and youth in foster care in Union County. By providing emotional, educational, and social support, Kindness for Kids aims to empower these young individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.
A Call To Action
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, Kindness for Kids of Union County is a call to action for the community. It invites individuals from all walks of life to contribute their time, resources, and expertise to make a difference in the lives of foster children. Whether it's through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word, everyone has a role to play in this collective effort to sow seeds of kindness.
